Karen Angela Hobbs (Angel) RN, MSN, FNP-C

Angel has spent more than 18 years in healthcare servicing Hamblen, and Hawkins County. She began her career as an LPN and later advanced to a Registered Nurse. Angel received her Associates of Science in Nursing at Walters State Community College.

While working full time, Angel continued her education and obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and her Masters of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner degree from King University. During her educational journey towards her MSN/FNP degree, Angel was awarded the King University School of Nursing Professional Pillar Award for Commitment. This award recognizes the dedication and service to patients, the profession, and continued learning while holding oneself to the highest standards of performance and accountability. This was an honor bestowed on Angel by her nursing professors and a great achievement in her career.

Angel is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Additionally, she is currently a member of several nursing organizations-including: the AANP, AMSN, ACCN, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society of Nursing.

Angel resides with her husband in Rogersville, TN. Together they have an extended blended family, including 7 children, and 11 wonderful, and uniquely individual grandchildren. When Angel is not caring for patients, she loves just spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, shopping, crafts, and paintings. Angel is now accepting new Primary Care Patients and she is here to help with all your health care needs.
